Airport Restrictions

You can help preserve safety and security at Bob Hope Airport by observing the following restrictions and precautions.

Drop-off and Pick-up
Passengers can be dropped off at the curb in front of the terminal. Because of TSA security requirements, no waiting is allowed at the curb. This rule will be strictly enforced. Unattended vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense. If the curb lane is crowded, move over to lane #2 and go past Terminal A baggage claim for better curb access.

Search of Vehicles
Please note that all vehicles entering Airport parking lots are subject to search.

In the Terminal
All luggage is subject to search. Passengers are restricted to one piece of carry-on luggage and one personal item such as a purse, handbag or briefcase. If you do not travel often, take a moment or two before your trip to visit TSA's website to familiarize yourself with prohibited items and the “3-1-1” rule on liquids and gels in your carry-on items.

The terminal gate areas are limited to ticketed passengers only. Travelers must carry a printed itinerary from their airline. Check with your airline if you require arrangements for an unaccompanied minor or physically disabled/infirm person.

TSA will deny access to secure areas of the Airport to persons who willfully refuse to provide identification at the security checkpoint. Click here for more information.
