Bob Hope Airport is well-known for being freeway close, but it’s also the only L.A. airport with its own train station! If you’ve ever been in heavy freeway traffic, you might find you can cut your travel time by cutting out your freeway time!

You can link up to your flights with Metrolink (Mon-Fri only) and Amtrak at the Bob Hope Airport Train Station within walking distance of the main terminal (free shuttle also available).

The airport is also a stop on MTA bus lines and the City of Burbank Burbank Bus, which connects with Downtown Burbank and the Metro Red Line in North Hollywood, right next to Universal Studios.

As of July 2010, the Airport also offers free shuttle service between the Airport and the Downtown Burbank Metrolink Station. Contact SuperShuttle at the shuttle island in front of the terminal for on-demand service from the Airport; call 818-558-3179 for pickup at the Downtown Burbank station to reach the Airport; or call 1-800-224-7767 to make advance reservations.
