There are always new questions about the airport, but the questions below come up most often.
Please see the General Parking page. We provide Economy parking with free shuttle service, and Valet and Short Term parking right in front of the terminal. Our goal is to make sure there is a space for you, no matter what level of parking you choose.
If you’re online, it’s never been easier. The airline website should have a quick link as long as you know the flight number or the originating city, and we provide links to all the airline websites in the Airlines & Flights section of this website. You can also search your internet access provider (AOL, Yahoo, Google, etc.) for flight status links. We’ve been using FlightArrivals.com and feature it on this site.
We set aside handicapped parking spaces in all Airport parking lots. All Airport parking shuttle buses are handicapped-accessible, and the Short Term parking structure has elevator service to all floors. The normal price of a given lot applies to all customers.
We publish a list of all the non-stop city destinations for quick reference. You can call the airline reservation center directly to book passage, using the telephone list published on this site, or visit the airline’s website. You can also visit online travel sites.
Remember that besides non-stop flights, most airlines offer many more destinations with a single change of planes, and you can easily find whether your destination is available using the airline website.
The Airport has a Lost and Found Desk at the Airport Police Substation at the main entrance to Terminal A. Call the Airport at (818) 840-8840 and ask for Lost and Found to make an inquiry, or use this website’s Questions or Comments contact form. We check it every day.
Visit TSA.gov for all manner of security-related information, including required identification and lists of permitted or prohibited items. The Transportation Security Administration does have procedures to address missing government-issued identification.
The Airport has onsite rental car companies with ready lots on the premises as well as rental car companies located off the airport that will pick up customers at the Airport. Click here for a complete roster.
Click here for a roster of airline reservation centers as well as local airline offices at the Airport to address non-reservation issues with their customers.
See our Parking & Ground Transport section. Bob Hope Airport is one of the few airports in the Western United States with train service directly to the airport. Both Amtrak and Metrolink commuter trains stop here. The Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) bus lines offer routes to downtown Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley. Burbank Bus covers many points throughout Burbank and connects with the Red Line subway system at North Hollywood Transit Station, which offers access to Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.

Bob Hope Airport is also planning a Regional Intermodal Transportation Center to open in late 2012 that will include a consolidated rental car facility and bus station directly across the street from the Bob Hope Airport Train Station.
