Airport Peace Officers

The Airport Police Department is manned by sworn personnel 24 hours a day, providing service to approximately five million airport visitors annually. The department is certified by the California Commission on Peace Officers Standards and Training (P.O.S.T.). All police officers employed by the airport are required to complete a California recognized police academy, undergo an extensive field training program and maintain continuing education standards established by P.O.S.T..

Airport Police

The sworn peace officers serving at Bob Hope Airport are members of the Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority Police Department, whose goal is to make your experience at Bob Hope Airport a pleasant one while providing service and safety for all who transit or visit the Airport.

You will find the Police Substation at the main entrance to the passenger terminal. The Substation also houses the Lost and Found Department.
